#Franklin Cudjoe Speaks Out on Arrests of Public Figures*

IMMI Africa’s Franklin Cudjoe has expressed frustration over the public’s reaction to the arrests of high-profile individuals. “I’ve never understood why common invitations to security services should turn into some sort of circus,” he said.
Concerns about Politicization
Cudjoe emphasized that arrests should be handled by the law, without interference or grandstanding. “When ordinary people are arrested, no one masses up or makes noise. But when it involves a politically exposed person, the whole country must stop?” he questioned.
Call for Fair Application of the Law
He stressed that the law should apply equally to all, regardless of status. “We must stop turning arrests into theatre. If a person is accused of wrongdoing, allow the process to play out. No one is above the law,” Cudjoe said.
