The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Sekyere Kumawu, Hon. Kwasi Amankwaa, has embarked on a working tour to all the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) centers across the district. The examination, which began today, has a total of 1,431 students participating from the Sekyere Kumawu District.
During his tour, Hon. Amankwaa outlined his vision for investing in education, stating that it is the bedrock of development in any jurisdiction. He emphasized that the assembly would partner with key stakeholders in the sector to implement the President’s vision for education.
The Sekyere Kumawu District Education Directorate oversees 41 kindergartens, 41 primary schools, 38 junior high schools, and four senior high schools. The Directorate has been working to improve teaching and learning outcomes, including organizing workshops on lesson planning and promoting inclusive education.
Hon. Amankwaa’s visit to the BECE centers demonstrates his commitment to supporting students and educators in the district. His emphasis on education as a key driver of development aligns with the government’s efforts to improve the sector. By partnering with stakeholders, the assembly aims to create a conducive environment for students to excel and achieve their full potential.
