NPP Flagbearer Aspirant Ken Agyapong’s Team Warns Bawumia Camp

The campaign team of New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer hopeful, Ken Ohene Agyapong, has issued a stern warning to Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s camp. The warning comes after one of Bawumia’s surrogates, Kwaku Osei Korankye Asiedu, popularly known as KOKA, launched a personal attack on Agyapong in a widely circulated video.

Allegations of Hypocrisy
In a statement signed by Communications Director Kwaku Amoh-Darteh, Esq., the Agyapong campaign described the development as hypocritical. They pointed out that Dr. Bawumia is often projected as a peaceful leader, yet his supporters engage in intimidation, bullying, and abusive rhetoric. The team accused the Vice President and his close associates of tacitly condoning such conduct by failing to repudiate it.

Call to Action
The Agyapong camp has advised Dr. Bawumia’s team to call their surrogates to order, warning that if they choose to drag the campaign into personal vilification, there will be consequences. They emphasized their commitment to preaching peace, unity, and discipline within the NPP but cautioned that peace must not be mistaken for weakness.

Commitment to Party Unity
Ken Agyapong’s team remains focused on ideas, vision, and principles, rather than insults. They reaffirmed their commitment to defending truth, protecting integrity, and standing with the grassroots of the party ahead of the NPP’s flagbearer contest.
