The Lies, The Kick, And The Fight That Exposed Them
For months, Ghana believed an audio.
That Maame Akosua Serwaa Fosu, the Germany wife of the late Highlife legend Charles Kwadwo Fosu — Daddy Lumba — packed his things and threw him out of their home in Germany.
That audio travelled to Chief’s palace. It made a Chief kick her with his leg. It made prominent men refuse to help her. It made a widow weep.
Today, the truth is out.
SHE NEVER THREW HIM OUT.
Maa Gina, her aide, said it through tears on TikTok. Neighbours in Germany know it. Family who visited that house know it. Daddy Lumba himself never said it. The whole story was orchestrated, she says, to make Serwaa look like the wicked wife who chased a legend, so that the public would hate her and embrace another narrative.
And now, the karma is poetic.
THE TWO WHO ALLEGEDLY DOCTORED THE VIDEOS ARE NOW FIGHTING EACH OTHER.
According to multiple accounts now circulating and as narrated by those close to the family, the two people accused of leading the doctoring — Ohemaa Lumba, who claims she will use her last blood to defend Daddy Lumba, and Freda Afriyie — are now publicly fighting each other.
And in that fight, they are exposing themselves.
THE HOW, WHEN, WHERE, WHO, WHY AND WHAT — AS Told
WHO?
Freda Afriyie and Ohemaa Lumba — two loud voices from Team Sidechick, according to Maa Gina and family sources.
WHAT WAS DONE?
They took old, innocent videos of Maame Akosua Serwaa Serwaa Fosu and of Daddy Lumba’s senior sister Akosua Brempongmaa — videos taken in moments of grief, confusion, or private family time — and doctored, edited, cropped, and re-voiced them.
Faces were zoomed to look angry. Words were cut to sound disrespectful. Audios that were never theirs were laid on top. Captions were written to ridicule.
The goal, Maa Gina Says: To disgrace Serwaa and Bremponmaa worldwide, to make them look like greedy women fighting for a dead man they allegedly threw out.
HOW?
By using basic phone editing apps — cutting, looping, adding fake WhatsApp voice notes, and then pushing it through TikTok, Facebook and YouTube channels sympathetic to them. One clip at a time, until the lie became truth in the eyes of the public.
WHEN?
Right in the heat of grief. When Daddy Lumba’s body was still fresh in the morgue. When his wife Serwaa and his blood sister Bremponmaa could not even speak because they were crying. That was when the videos were flying.
WHERE?
From Germany to Ghana. From TikTok live to Facebook groups. From small WhatsApp platforms to big pages that thrive on “main media outlet” style content. The videos were made to go viral — and they did.
WHY?
To control the narrative. To make Ohemaa Lumba look like the true lover, the defender with her blood, while painting the legal wife and the senior sister as villains. To win public sympathy. And allegedly, to position for what comes after — attention, relevance, and property talk.
But lies have short legs.
NOW THEY ARE FIGHTING — AND EXPOSING THE EDIT
Today, Ohemaa Lumba and Freda Afriyie are no longer in sync. They are on TikTok lives accusing each other. One says, “you edited it.” The other says “you sent me the video to post.”
And in that fight, the public is finally hearing:
Yes, the videos were doctored.
Yes, Serwaa never threw Lumba out.
Yes, Bremponmaa was never rude — she was grieving.
The same mouths that disgraced them are now confessing with their own quarrel.
THE KICK THAT SHOULD NEVER HAVE HAPPENED
Maa Gina will never forget:
“A Chief kicked us with his leg at the chief’s palace because of that audio. He said Serwaa threw out Lumba. When Serwaa said, ‘I didn’t do it’, they didn’t even allow her to talk.”
That Chief is now gone. His one-week was this week. May he rest.
But his kick remains a symbol — of how far a doctored video can go. From a phone in someone’s bedroom to a palace, to a widow’s chest.
TRUTH CANNOT BE BOUGHT
They told Serwaa: Pay money. Give envelope. That is how Ghana works.
She refused.
“She said truth cannot be bought. She had stayed in Germany for long and doesn’t understand our system where you need to pay to get justice. She left everything in God’s hands.”
And God, it seems, is letting the liars expose themselves.
Maame Akosua Serwaa Serwaa Fosu did not throw Daddy Lumba out in Germany.
Akosua Bremponmaa did not disrespect her brother’s memory.
They were just two grieving women — a wife and a sister — kicked by lies.
And now that Freda and Ohemaa are fighting, the world is finally seeing who held the editing knife.
Justice for Serwaah. Justice for Bremponmaa. Respect for Daddy Lumba’s blood.
