Ghana Armed Forces Takes Swift Action Against Soldier Involved in Assault

The Ghana Armed Forces has confirmed that a soldier involved in an altercation at a pharmacy in Burma Camp, Accra, has been apprehended by the Military Police. The incident, which occurred last night, has sparked widespread concern and outrage.

According to reports, the soldier, identified as WOI Williams, allegedly assaulted individuals at the pharmacy, including the daughter of a former Provost Marshall of the Military Police.

The Ghana Armed Forces has initiated an investigation into the incident and is taking disciplinary action against the soldier. “The soldier is being prepared to face the full rigors of the law and will be detached from the Jubilee House back to his unit,” sources close to the matter indicate.
