#Ghana’s PAC Achieves Significant Recovery of Misappropriated Funds

The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of Ghana’s Parliament has made notable strides in recovering funds misappropriated through various acts of malfeasance. According to Rt. Hon. Alban S.K. Bagbin, Speaker of Parliament, the PAC has issued over 252 recommendations, resulting in the recovery of approximately GHC 273.3 million by the end of 2024.
This achievement underscores the committee’s commitment to ensuring accountability and transparency in the management of public funds. The recovered amount is a testament to the effectiveness of the PAC’s efforts in addressing financial irregularities and promoting good governance.
