Immigration Chief Seeks Asantehene’s Blessing for Success

The Comptroller-General of Ghana Immigration service, Samuel Basintale Amadu, has paid a courtesy visit to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, at the Manhyia Palace. Accompanied by key officials, including the Director-General of Prisons, Mrs. Patience Baffoe-Bonney and the Chief Fire Officer, Mrs. Daniella Mawusi Ntow Sarpong. They were there to seek the monarch’s wise counsel and blessings to ensure the successful execution of his mandate.

During the visit, the delegation expressed gratitude for the warm reception and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening ties between security services and traditional leadership. This development highlights the importance of collaboration between security agencies and traditional leaders in Ghana.

The visit underscores the significant role traditional leaders play in Ghana’s governance structure, providing counsel and support to government officials.
