Promoting the welfare and empowerment of Persons with Disabilities

Hon. Kwasi Amankwaa, popularly known as Tom C, has reaffirmed his commitment to promoting the welfare and empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in the Sekyere Kumawu district. During a meeting with PWDs, Tom C listened attentively to their concerns and challenges, particularly highlighting the need for inclusive development and support.

For example, the Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese District Assembly has distributed items to PWDs, including stationery, food, and other essential resources. Similarly, the Akuapem North Municipal Assembly has provided support to over 36 PWDs, including cash and items such as plastic chairs, wheelbarrows, and freezers.
