The President of the Republic of Ghana has appointed 18 individuals as Deputy Heads of Missions to various countries around the world, according to a letter from the Office of the President dated September 11, 2025.
The appointments, signed by Callistus Mahama, Ph.D., Secretary to the President, are part of Ghana’s efforts to strengthen its diplomatic presence globally. The appointed individuals will serve in Ghana’s diplomatic missions in countries including Germany, Switzerland, the United States, China, Canada, India, the United Kingdom, Korea, the United Arab Emirates, the Netherlands, Italy, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, Russia, South Africa, Egypt, and Denmark.
The letter, addressed to the Hon. Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Accra, requests that necessary steps be taken to facilitate the appointment process for the listed individuals. The appointments are copied to the Vice President and the Chief of Staff at Jubilee House, Accra.
